Getting someone into a Small Steps home
Four steps, no mystery. Here's exactly what happens from your referral to move-in day.
Submit a Referral
Send us the referral through the form below. A name, a way to reach your client, and a sentence about their situation is enough to start.
Client Assessment
We meet with your client to understand their needs and confirm our homes are the right fit. We don't hold assessments at our properties — we meet at a neutral location, so your client stays comfortable and our current residents stay private.
Housing Placement
We match your client to an available room — private or shared, whichever fits — and walk through the program details together before anything is signed.
Move-In Support
We help your client get settled from day one, and we stay connected with you after the move so the support doesn't stop at the front door.
A note on where we meet. We never hold assessments at our homes. It protects the privacy of residents already living there, and it means your client can talk openly in a space that feels neutral. We'll arrange a location that works for both of you.
